Co-organized 2 major events for CMS Cycle 7 and 8
Background:
The team had operational challenges as processing admin matters consumed team members’ time from their primary responsibilities, resulting in lower productivity and motivation.
Role: Admin Associate
Logistics and Procurement Aspect:
Canvased and secured vendors and contractors (for flight, venue, accommodation, and supplies) that met the team’s defined criteria and were within the project budget.
Coordinated with the finance team on any project-related expenses that needed to be processed by filling out and filing required financial documents. Ensured proper documentation for all costs.
Communicated with participants and resource speakers to secure their attendance and address any needs before, during, and after the event. This includes arranging their travel and releasing grants or honorarium.

The 2 major events the CMS team organized were:
CheckMySchool Presentation and Recognition (2019) with over 70 attendees including CMS monitors, DepEd staff, and other local government officials.
CMS 8 Consultation and Updating 3-day Workshop (2018)
